FOYLES BOOK STORE — IT’S THOUGHT THAT COUNTS
It takes courage to give a book. It isn’t easy to avoid the shiny bits and bobs that attract the most attention at the gift exchange. The video games, the necklaces, the motorized scooters. A book may not generate the same ooohs and ahhhs that a brand new X-Box would. But if the recipient gives the book the time and attention the book deserves, they will eventually understand that its value far outweighs whatever lies beneath all the shiny bows and curly ribbons which mask other, lesser holiday gifts.
